The Deadly Pandemic Is Coming. New!

Hey there, broke college kid, family man and overworked mother. Yeah, you. The one reading this at 2AM during a sleepless night. Because everyone has to read this right now. A new pandemic is coming, and it could be the worst pandemic in history. If you are like me, you are probably wondering, how can I prepare for the coming of a deadly pandemic? What should I prepare for the day that a deadly pandemic hits?

The world has been shaken by the coronavirus pandemic, bringing home to many people the possibility that we could all be at risk of a serious illness at any time.

It’s prompted many to start thinking about what they can do to prepare for something similar happening again in the future.

For some, this has meant stocking up on food and other essentials. For others, it’s meant taking steps to ensure their wills are up-to-date and that if they die, their loved ones know where important documents are kept.

The first thing to do is to take stock of your situation. If you live in an area where there is already a major outbreak, your chances of becoming ill yourself are very high. If you live somewhere that has not seen any cases yet, you have time to prepare.

Every so often in  history, there are instances of deadly pandemics that have taken many lives, such as smallpox and tuberculosis. It is well know that most deadly  pandemic was the Black Death, killing almost a hundred million people back in the thirteen hundreds.

If you live in an area where there has been no outbreak yet, but there are rumors that one might be coming soon, it’s hard to know what to do. Do you start preparing now or wait until things get worse?

I have a lot of experience with this, but I’m not an expert. My advice is based on personal research and experience with my own family’s pandemic preparations.

There are two main kinds of preparation: basic supplies and medical supplies.

Basic supplies are relatively easy to obtain and keep on hand, but medical supplies are much harder to come by. If you want medical supplies for pandemic preparedness, you’ll need to start working now to get them before any major outbreak happens.

Food and water

Make sure your pantry is stocked with non-perishable food that your family likes to eat. If you have space in your home, consider buying a few hundred dollars’ worth of extra canned goods, rice, pasta and staples like sugar and flour at a time over the next year or so (I’ve been doing this since 2015). You don’t need to buy years’ worth of food all at once; a little bit every month is fine.

How can I protect my family and myself from a deadly pandemic that could kill millions of people?

The problem with a deadly pandemic is that it’s almost guaranteed to happen, and there’s nothing we can do to stop it. The only thing we can do is prepare for the day that it comes.

Who knows if this pandemic is even a biological pandemic. It can be something much worse than a biological pandemic that decimates the human race. Maybe this isn’t a pandemic at all but an attack of some sort coming from some rogue country that has developed biological weapons.

How can I prepare for the coming of a deadly pandemic?

The best way is what you are already doing which is researching and getting ready.

What should I prepare for the day that a deadly pandemic hits?

You are worried about covid-19 so how about prepping for a much worse pandemic than covid-19.

Covid-19 is child’s play compared to what you could be facing.

A deathly pandemic will put all our lives in danger.

The deathly pandemic may not even be biological!

A global pandemic is not a matter of if, but when. It’s only a matter of time before we are hit with something worse than COVID-19.

You see, many people have become complacent regarding their preparedness because they believe that what they have at home will be enough to keep them going. They have also convinced themselves that the corona virus pandemic was the last but it most definitely will not be.

Believe it or not, having a bug out bag needs to be at the top of your priority list. Your bug out bag should contain all of the essentials you will need in order to survive when the SHTF.

A bug-out bag is a must-have for everyone. A bug-out bag will be your lifeline when the SHTF. This bag should contain all of the essential supplies you need to survive for at least 72 hours until you get to your bug out location (BOL).

Here are some of the items that should be in your bug out bag:

A good knife – A knife is an essential item which every member of your family should carry in their bug out bag as well. You never know when you will need to cut something, so it is best to always be prepared.

A fire starter – Fire starters are a must-have item in any bug out bag, especially if you live in a cold climate. If the power goes out or you are living off grid, then having a way to start a fire can make life much easier and more comfortable.

Cash – When the SHTF, cash will be king. You can’t rely on electronic payments in a disaster situation as there may not be any electricity available and ATMs won’t work without electricity. You should have a stash of cash safely tucked away in your bug-out bag just in case.

Toilet paper, as most know by now, is one of the most valuable commodities

Of course, this is a pretty obvious one, but many people don’t realize just how important it is until it’s too late. You don’t want to find yourself on day one of a disaster without any food or water. The first thing you should do is stock up on non-perishable items for storage.

People should be washing their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing their nose, coughing, or sneezing.

It’s okay to be a germaphobe. You just want to live life clean and simple, right? Get in touch with that desire by washing your hands frequently.
